Description:
Highest scoring Gold Medal variety in the FS 2005 trials.
Fleuroselect Gold Medal Winner 2007.
Early to flower, 3 weeks earlier than Blue Stars. Long flowering season, and if cut back will quickly re-bloom. Excellent in pots and containers as well as bedding schemes.
Sow as late as April for flowers mid to late summer.
Final garden height: 25-30cm (10-12 inches) and spread: 30-35cm (12-14 inches).

Sowing/Growing information | |
Sowing | Sow on to the surface of a moist seed sowing compost using a 286 plug tray or similar size unit. Do not cover the seed and propagate at 20C. Germination should begin to take place after 10 to14 days at this point maintain a temperature of 20C. January-February sowings will result in flowering plants in late April-May. |
Growing | Continue to grow the seedlings on at 15C until they are established and fill the tray. Transfer to a 12 pack, 6 pack or 9cm pot and continue to grow on at 10 to 15C. Early February sowings will result in flowering plants for sale in late April / May. Later sowings made in April can be potted on into 1 litre pots for sales of more established flowering plants in late June. |
